A fight between two men quarrelling over a woman ended with one of them being run off the road on his motorcycle and the other in the hospital in critical condition after being stabbed.
The pair had been fighting throughout the day over Rodney Cox's ex-wife, who said the other man, Steven Fortin, had assaulted her at a bar, said Phoenix Police spokeswoman Cindy Scott.
Cox, 46, got in his blue Corsica and followed Fortin,39, from the bar, running his Harley Davidson off the road near the 1900 block of Union Hills Drive. The two continued fighting and Fortin stabbed Cox several times.
Cox returned to his home near 40th Avenue and Ocotillo Road before calling authorities and going to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Neither of the men has been arrested and the investigation is on-going, Scott said.
