Man almost drowns in pool at house party

A 20 year-old male is in critical condition after nearly drowning at a small party held Saturday night, according to the Scottsdale Fire Department.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor.

The man was visiting friends at a home in the 7500 block of North Via De Los Libros when he went missing about 10 minutes and was later found in a backyard pool.

Rescue personnel got the man breathing but he was still unresponsive. He was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare Shea north.
